Learn how asset-based PI tools have been used to implement an example of load forecasting for the power generation industry, in which analyses and demand table look-ups are used to calculate future data for comparison with current data. This Example Kit contains multiple XML files for the creation of a templates- and hierarchy-only PI AF database and a second demo PI AF database with a PI ProcessBook display demonstrating visualization of forecasted data. An Excel spreadsheet using PowerPivot is included for a deeper analysis. The kit also includes a User Guide to help the user get started. Use of this kit requires the following minimum software versions - PI Data Archive 2012, PI AF Server 2015, PI Analysis Service 2015, and PI ProcessBook 2015. To explore the Excel spreadsheet, Excel 2010+ with PowerPivot and PI DataLink 2015 is required.

You can download individual files, the full kit from here: Power Generation Load Forecasting Toolkit (AF Asset Based PI Example Kit)
