The automatic upgrade of PI Cloud Connect that was scheduled for April 13, 2017 was completed on April 20, 2017.


Included in this release:

* Changed the default PI server write mode on subscribers from insert to replace.

* Enhanced reliability of backend inter-service communication.

* Allow use of AF server aliases when connecting to AF servers.

* Improved handling of certain subscriber request failures.


The last automatic upgrade of PI Cloud Connect was on March 20, 2017 and following the upcoming upgrade the next automatic upgrade is tentatively scheduled for the week of May 22, 2017.


The automatic upgrade process does not require any manual interaction and will only incur a momentary delay in data. If for any reason your automatic upgrade fails, you will receive an email with machine specific details and guidance on how to manually upgrade the local service.
