An automatic upgrade of PI Cloud Connect occurred on September 29, 2017.

This release includes fixes for issues where a subscriber or publisher may drop cached or pending PI points if the PI Data Archive is initially unavailable. Additional logging has been added when a subscription is unable to write point updates to the PI Data Archive. Handling of special characters has been corrected for user names during installation and AF database names on publication and subscription creation.

The last automatic upgrade of PI Cloud Connect was on August 30 and following the upcoming upgrade the next automatic upgrade is tentatively scheduled for the week of November 7th.

The automatic upgrade process does not require any manual interaction and will only incur a momentary delay in data. If for any reason your automatic upgrade fails you will receive an email with machine specific details and guidance on how to manually upgrade the local service.
