I would suggest you to use PI Builder (Excel Add-in) to manage tag creation and AF mapping i.e. attribute configuration mapping.
OSIsoft: Create, Edit, & Delete AF Objects in Bulk with PI Builder [v2.7.0.6937] - YouTube
Please let us know if you are looking for any other scenarios

2 of 2 people found this helpfulLike Lal Babu Shaik mentioned, PI Builder is a great way. Another way is to use templates use attribute naming patterns. You also can use the tag search in PI System Explorer (PSE) and tag the tags onto the elements. In PSE Tools > Pallet> Tag Search and from here you can drag multiple tags onto an element. You likely will have to rename the attributes to something more meaningful.

3 of 3 people found this helpfulWe normally suggest you do it in the opposite direction. Create your elements/assets then create your PI Tags. The functionality of creating pi tags in bulk from Element template is natively supported via PSE.
- First create AF templates that will represent your tags.
- Configure PI Point data references to match what will be created in your DCS/PLC.
- Right-Click on your element to 'create or update data references' to create your pi tags.
Please do check out this part of manual:
