Can you help me with this error with BACnet device. Error 33: Unable to connect to BACnet Device.
I dont see much on techsupport site about this.
The error you are seeing indicates that the interface is not able to connect to some BACnet devices.
The string description of the Device Status is defined as such:
The device status value will then receive a value between 30 and 70. The value of the device status is defined as such:
In your case, since the Device Status value is 33, it indicate that approximately 7.5% of your devices cannot be reached by the interface.
Please verify that the interface can reach all the BACnet devices. If you are expecting a device to be offline (maintenance, decommission), then you can either turn the points to Scan=OFF (recommended) or ignore the Device Status. To verify the connectivity to the BACnet devices, the PI BACnet Query Tool that is provided with the interface can be used.
This information is not currently in the User Guide, nor available anywhere, so I will make an update to the User Guide so it is documented in future versions. Thanks for bringing this up.
Hope this helps,
