There exist different options for adding references to ProcessBook displays (PDI's) from within a ProcessBook (PIW). Please refer to Add ProcessBook entries including sub-chapters.
When referring displays (PDI's) in a ProcessBook (PIW) those references become added to the PIW. I wouldn't know PDI files would contain any information about which PIW files they are referenced with. For this reason, what you are asking for doesn't work - at least not this way. What should work though is accessing all entries of a PIW file and to get information if those refer PDI files and which those are. Would this be useful for you?
Is there any way to make it work, I still didn't get why it can't be done using VBA.
I am not saying VBA cannot be used but that displays do not have the information which ProcessBooks they are referred / linked in. You would have to scan ProcessBook (PIW) file(s) to get which displays it / they link.
