If you are still using Excel to analyze time-series data most of the time, you are truly missing out. Power BI is an incredibly useful tool in analyzing time-series data. You can do most, if not all, of what I am showing with pretty much any BI tool (we do a lot of Tableau work too and all of what I show applies to Tableau as well).

 

The visualization capability and the ability to slice the data any way you want it is incredible. Also, you can literally type in a question and Power BI will draw a visual for you like below (I show this in video #3):
