If you are like me, you spend much of your time writing code and leaving the design to others. This is unfortunate, as I think that design is a very creative and fun process. Design is a learned skill we all can become proficient at and should not avoid. In this video I use Adobe XD and try to copy a dashboard used in one of the Star Trek movies.

In the near future, I have plans to animate this dashboard with live data from a PI System, so stay tuned!

Hi Everyone,

I just posted a new video about time formatting. Without a basic understanding of how time is handled in PI it can be a struggle when trying to work with PI Data. In this video I share the single most common pitfall when setting up AF SDK queries. I also provide some additional thoughts and resources to help you tackle this “timely” issue    I apologize for all the puns, it can’t be helped!

Hi Everyone,

I talk about why you should optimize your queries to the PI System and then show one of the first steps to take using the AFAttributeList class. I take a typical way data is retrieved from PI and make it 40% faster!

Hi Everyone,

Just posted a two part YouTube video that shows how get Event Frames out of your PI System using the AF SDK.

Hope you find them helpful!
