How to retrieve the renamed PI tag (not the old PI tag) for an AF attribute?

I have a custom ProcessBook Add-in that retrieves the underlying PI tag for an AF attribute whose data reference is PI Point.  It does this by using Attribute.RawPIPoint.  When a PI tag is renamed, it returns the renamed new PI tag in ProcessBook 2010 and ProcessBook 2012, but it returns the old PI tag in ProcessBook 2014 (we just recently upgraded to ProcessBook 2014).  The old PI tag is renamed and so it does not exist in PI and causes our Add-in not behave the way it should in ProcssBook 2014.

What is the best way to retrieve the current effective PI tag name used by an AF attribute?
