I used to use 'bom' (begin of month) to make a monthly hour meter, but when I put this at my start time, the Pi System return the messagem "Time range invalid".
BOM is Performance Equartion function.
So it works in PE syntax like PE tags, Analyses etc...
If you want to use begin of month time in start time, you can use "1". (This means current month's 1st day 00:00)
It works PI DataLink, PI SMT, PI ProcessBook etc....
Have you added context to BoM?
E.g. BoM('*') would be BoM relative to now.
Can you post the full equation?
Can u post the full PE expression. I need to create a tag that fetch the average of 3 tags Month to date and Year to date.
Hello Tamunosoye Bill
I would ask that you refrain from hijacking an old thread with a question of your own. If you have a question, ask it in a new posting. First of all, this thread is almost 3 years old and its answer by the original poster back in Aug 2015. That means our engineers who monitor PI Square would not be flagged to pay attention to a post that already has an answer marked. By asking a new question, the new thread would be marked as unanswered, which is highlighted to our engineers.
The Live Library Help link provided by Kenji shows usage of the Bom function. Did you click on the link to read the help? Is there anything about the help that is not clear to you?
Updated link for PI Server 2017 R2
