I have created IO Rate tag but most of the time the tag is equal to 0 its not stable to 0 but its up and down to 0
why is getting 0?
Is it the IO-rate tag located in the "Health Points" tab you created? Do you know if the tags are set up as advise-tags or polled-tags? I would guess that with advise tags and a scan rate faster than the update rate of the OPC-server you would end up with scans that returns no updates. I would rather use the the IORates-tag instead as it in my opinion gives a more realistic view of the data flow. Especially if advise-mode is used for the tags. It generates a 10-min average of events sent to the PI-server from the interface.
Thanks Tim for your reponse.
I've created the tags from the health check: i've selected the one specified for the IO Rate and create the tags.
If i want to create the tags that you are saying, can you please give me the steps of doing it?
Thanks in advance.
From ICU, instead of creating IO Rate tags from "UniInt > Health Points" in the navigation menu on the left, create it from "IO Rate" as shown below:
