There is a PI SDK Buffering feature.
Open About PI SDK (PI SDK Utility) > Buffering > PI SDK Bufferng Configuration
Check Enable PI SDK Buffering
It enables PI SDK buffering and should be able to write values to PI Data Archive collective.
Hi Kenji. Thanks for your reply. I hope this will be enough. I will check the configuration for PI SDK Buffering . The information (from 2014) I found says it is not. Is this an improvement in the newest version?
The information you have found is only about some PI SDK calls that are not buffered, PI SDK buffering is available from PI SDK 2012 R2.
PI SDK is now deprecated, and if you are writing a new application you should really consider to use AF SDK.
Here is some information about AF SDK Buffering:
Please let us know if you have more questions.
Patrice, Thanks for answer.
This is an old application that was built for a single pi server. Now, the user is using a HA collective and he is getting the error message. Right now ,I don't have access to the user environment. so I need to reply this and do the testing. I will check PI SDK Buffering Configuration and do the testing.
I will post the results.
Thanks for the advice in the future developments.
