I was checking my windows task manager and found out that the physical memory is 80% and the pirecalc.exe is using 7,388,660k.
What should i do in order to make the above application use less from the physical memory.
Thanks in advance.
The PI ReCalculator service performs recalculations of Performance Equation PI Points. High loads can occur when backfilling data or receiving out-of-order data. Dependencies can make this problem even worse: one recalculation triggering the next. There is no golden bullit when it comes to optimizing this. I'd suggest to analyze if this is a recurring problem or an incidental one. What is causing the recalculations to occur, is the question you need to answer.
Currently i would suggest to move from PE Points to use PI AF Analytics. The key issue with PE's is that the recalculation is difficult to manage and can cause siginificant issues on your PI Server (as you noticed). Hope this helps.
Thank you Roger Palmen, i will check the documentation that you have suggest.
And i looked up more for my issue and i found out that if i update my pi server the issue will be fixed.
