I would like to know it it's possible to access PI server via JDBC with a standard 4.0 jdbc client ( so I don't want to install on client side the PI JDBC driver).
Have you experience with this scenario?
PI JDBC Driver requires being installed client side. In case your question refers to the usage of a JDBC-to-JDBC bridge a) you would still have to install something client side and b) we recommend against using such a bridge with PI JDBC.
