I am trying to create PI to PI interface, when I add new PI-Server to PI-ICU it throw error .
Unable to open a session on a server.[-10431] Authentication method is disabled by current server policy.
This basically means that you try to use an authentication method that is disabled on the server. To connect, you roughly need a windows credential with a mapping to a PI identity, a trust, or a PI username (deprecated).
Upon connection, the SDK tries each of these mechanisms, trying the next when the previous failed. E.g. first try a trust, if no trust found, try windows credentials, etc.
You can check and change the sequence in your PISDK settings. Because the PI server says you don't have access using a disabled method, which is probably a PI user. So you need either a trust, or a mapping for your Windows identity.
The first question you need to ask yourselves: what identity do i use to connect, and does that identity have access?
Roger is right, this error likely mean that you do not have a trust or mapping that is allowing you permission to connect to the server and that the PI Server has the default user (or explicit login) authentication method disabled.

Give yourself a trust or a mapping that has the appropriate permissions and you should be good to go.
