The description of PlotValues is below. The data reference must implement this method.
If the data reference doesn't support InterpolatedValues or Plotvalues and you are interested in filtering for a trend, you can try AFValues.PlotValues on the returned values from a GetValues call.

If you wrote the custom data reference, then you can modify it in order to support InterpolatedValues. Refer to the Rich Data Access addendum of the Implementing Custom AF 2.X Data References white paper available from the OSIsoft tech support site.
Unfortunately, I don't have access to the custom data reference code. So I will not be able to modify anything in that.
Is it possible to get the interpolated values using the existing data reference?
Currently I am using GetValues Method, and I can see that the result of GetValues method is similar to the result of Plot Values(using PI System Explorer), then should I use AFValues.PlotValues on the GetValues method?
Please correct me if I am wrong.
