Event queue file not accessible

I have installed PI on a new machine that will take over the primary role. Before joining this new machine to the collective and until now (after part of the collective), I see that the event queue file is not accessible thus data is not received in PI. When looking at the logs in SMT, the following logs are generated.

Upon logging into the PI server itself, the file is still available. My temporary workaround is to stop the PI server, delete the file and start back the PI server. This occurs at random times and random interval, but at least twice a week. What is causing this? Any way to fix this?


Existing server
Windows Server 2003 R2 32-bit
Physical machine

PI 3.4.375.80 32-bit


Replacement server
Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit
Virtual machine (VMWare)
PI 3.4.375.80 64-bit
Note: Once this machine is the primary, it will be upgraded to PI Server 2012 64-bit
