Analysis Data Reference doesn't follow Execution rule when plotting in Processbook

All,  I've created a multi variable Analysis Based Data Reference and mapped the outputs to AF attributes (obviously without writing to a pi point).  I'm trying to take advantage of the "on the fly" calculation, but my analysis is so complex that it takes a long time across extensive time ranges.  My work around was to set the trigger as Period for ever 5 minutes so that i would only receive 5 minute interval calculations.

My problem is that when i try to plot these values in PI Processbook, the execution somehow goes back to event based, and the analysis is done for every recorded point for my inputs.  My inputs are ~1 point per second so this really slows my analysis down.

The weird thing is that i swear it was working properly about 2 weeks ago and the calculations were done on a 5 minute interval.  Either something changed, or my computer / network connection speeds were extremely fast 2 weeks ago.

Any idea?
