I have made a PI asset view and published it locally and on azure sql. When I am publishing it on Azure SQL the no. of records are different than no of records in local db. Why is this happening. Is there any bug to connect PI views to Azure SQL DB.
There was a bug in the first release of the Integrator that you are running into. Unfortunately, we have also removed the Azure SQL database target option from the upcoming release of the PI Integrator for Business Analytics. The current plan is for this functionality to exist as its own product, but this is still in research.
Hi Rizwanul, what is the difference between the number of records? Are some getting published but not all?
I have selected the same date range in both azure view and local view. In local view there was 33650 records but in azure database view there were only 721 records only.
If date range is same why this is happening. I saw the logs of PI integrator.
Can you also tell us about the configuration you used to publish:
I have used the same date range in both cases. I have created a view in local Pi view and after that I modified the same copy of view and published with the same configuration on azure sql database.
In first case I was getting around 33000 records and in second case I was getting only about 1000 records. When I manually create the table for azure view in azure db without the auto increment ID column the no. of records increase in that azure db table. Is this a bug in auto generating table for the view in azure sql db.
