Hello Pi users:
I have been doing some research on how to DOS shell out of our application to find the amount of tags the pi archive is licensed for.
Below is from the forums, I'm trying to figure out how to get pibasess.MaxAggregatePointModuleCount , again using an old fashio=ioned DOS cmd.exe command
piartool -lic usage, or
pilicmgr -lic usage

The InstallationID, as shown in the output above, tells how many data streams you are permitted. If it is "MAX" this means unlimited. If it says "100K" then your license supports up to 100,000 data streams.

The pibasess.MaxAggregatePointModuleCount value defines the size of the PI Server. 16 points are allocated for the default points (Sinusoid, etc.) so pibasess.MaxAggregatePointModuleCount Tot Amount of 50016 is a 50K server.
