Is it at all possible to get point annotations in an AF formula or an AF Analysis?
There is no way I know of to do that using AF formula or Asset Analysis. There only is the IsSet function to determine if a value is annotated but it does not support reading the annotation value.
Perhaps if you explain a little more why you need this and why this is important, let's say a person like Stephen Kwan may be interested in understanding this need.
(For those who don't know him he is the product manager for AF and I am pretty sure he likes to discuss about his product features.)
But of course. We have some formulas and analyses, comprising several AF-Tags with pi-points. Sometimes we want to force the formula to disregard or overide one of the input values in a certain timeperiod, based on manually entered annotations.
Based on the information here, I suppose the most viable solution is to make a custom reference, where we actually can read the annotations with the AFSDK, or to use an other tag as "qauality tag"
