Yes. Use one of the AFNotifcation.FindNotifications overloads that accepts an AFCategory object. Note that typically you would want to get the AFCategory object from the AFDatabase. Something like
var category = afDB.ElementCategories[categoryName]; var notifications = AFNotification.FindNotifications(afDB, null, category, null, AFSortField.Name, AFSortOrder.Ascending, int.MaxValue);
