My processbook application hangs up when starting the VBA Display_Open(). Is it possible to start it and suppress VBA ???
The PROCBOOK.INI file contains configuration and preference settings on a node by node basis for PI ProcessBook. There is a parameter, MacroProtectionLevel, that can be changed in the [STARTUP] section of the file to control whether VBA are executed on open. It sounds like you might want to set it to 6, but please see Macro protection for more information on the various levels the parameter can be set to.
thanks for your answer. But this solution helps me not compleately. I am able to disable the start of the macro, but i can't edit the macro and save it to fix my problem.
Please try setting the MacroProtectionLevel to 5; this should open the display in design mode to allow edits to the VBA code.
