Have you heard about the OSIsoft Small Private Online Courses (SPOCs)? These convenient learning opportunities allow you to work at your own pace and on your own time, from the comfort of your own desk!!!

Monday October 24th marks the start of our next facilitated session for the Implementing PI System High Availability online course. For the following 3 weeks, you can expand your PI System knowledge with guidance and assistance from an OSIsoft facilitator. You can even submit a final project to get feedback and earn a certificate of completion for the course! To hear more about the perks of registering for a facilitated session, check out the Online Course FAQ.

In the Implementing PI System High Availability online course, Field Service Engineer Sam helps you gain exposure to various PI System components, their requirements, and available redundancy options to help you understand the best way the PI System will fit into your Enterprise. It will provide you with a working knowledge of the installation of both the PI Data Archive and PI Interface, as well as how to maximize your PI System through the use of a PI Collective, Interface Failover, and more! Finally, this course will introduce you to some of the utilities provided with the PI System, such as PI System Management Tools, PI Collective Manager, and the PI Interface Configuration Utility.

Are you working on a plan to integrate the PI System infrastructure into your existing Enterprise? Thinking of expanding your current PI System? Or, are you interested in different system architectures, resource requirements, and the High Availability and redundancy options inherent in the PI System? If so, then this online course is for you!

This course comes with a configuration in the OSIsoft Virtual Learning Environment, consisting of ready-to-go virtual machines hosted in Microsoft Azure with a sandbox PI System waiting for you!
