I have a new PI system and I need to import my old Honeywell historian data into PI. Is there a document out there on the OSISoft website that shows how to do that?
You can use the Honeywell PHD Interface to do the move. There is a utility with this that helps you build up the PI Points if needed.
Another option, is to use the OPC HDA Interface. From what I understand this is preferred since there is less of a load on the PHD server using this interface. I've seen this used more often to backfill PHD data into a PI Data Archive. If you can view your PHD server as an OPC server, then this interface can be used to backfill. I'd recommending discussing each of the interfaces with technical support to see which might be best for you as well as the configuration options. There are a number of interface flags that will help tune the interface to improve performance.

Here is what we did back in 2012.
Export PHD data to CSV files. 1 tag per file with a year of data. Then use PI UFL to import the data.
We wrote a quick application to do the PHD export. The export did take quite some time to run, but it did the trick.
