When my ACE module does not explicitly assign a value to an output tag, I am getting a "Calc Fail" written to the tag....What is the equivalent in ACE for the NoOutput in P.E.?,
You can use "SendDataToPI=false" to do the trick
Yes Tang is correct. Also, if you could build IF..End If condition to completely bypass the line which assigns value to output tag should also work.
It seems that the methods given: (1) "SendDataToPi = False", and (2) not assigning a value to the output tag, both of them still return a "Calc Failed" when you go to Tools-->PIACEWizard-->Test.
Using the "SendDataToPI = False" works for me in actual practice, though, as an option to bail out of the class without writing any values to PI at all.
This is also my impression - use "SendDataToPI = False" always or risk getting "Calc Failed"s!
