Formula badval returning true when Pi Point Good

I have an inconsistent issue when attempting to prevent bad values being returned from Pi Points.

I have created a default top element node to provide the true value or a default value.

The formula looks like this: A=.|Intermediate Tag;[if badval(A) then 0 else A]

The problem is some elements will return a 0 even though the Pi Point is returning as Good and a legitimate value is present.

The problem does not occur on every element but seems to be problematic on a few; although the formula is the same.  I have deleted the element and recreated it with no success.

In the image below I have marked the areas of issue.  You can also see at the top of the image (ACTUAL VOLUME) and bottom image (VOLUME) where it is not a problem.

Any advice would be appreciated.
