AF2 Data Set does not reflect changes in the AF structure?

Hi all!

When you configure an object in ProcessBook with AF2 Data Set and later change any part of the attribute's path, this change is not reflected on the object.

Meaning that when I reopen my display, there will be a "NO DATA" value for that object, since it can't find the path.

If all my displays are AF based and I want to change the name of the root element of my hierarchy for example, I would need then to reconfigure every single object in every display.

For tags, ProcessBook stores the Point ID, rather than tagname, so you can always rename your tags and it will be transparent for the clients. I know this behavior can be set on\off in the Procbook.ini file.

Is there any equivalent for AF paths? Or the behavior I described is indeed mandatory?

Will Coresight work any different?

Best regards
