PRiSM imports are very slow

We are using PRiSM from Schneider Electric for predictive analysis at our power plants.  Previously, we had a 2012 PI server on a 2008 Windows Server platform that was very slow when performing the data imports, sometimes taking as long as 45 minutes to import data from PI to PRiSM.  Due to the performance of this particular PI server, we decided to build a new server, using 2012 PI server, but running on a Windows Server 2012 platform.

Initially, the new PI server running on the 2012 Server platform was very fast and performance engineers were extremely happy.  However, in the last 2 to 3 weeks, the performance of the new PI server has degraded to the point that data imports are taking as long as 30 minutes in some cases.  The new PI server has only been in service for a couple of months.

I have reviewed OSIsoft's documentation and reviewed PI Square documentation as well, but I have not found anything that points to a solution for this problem.

Any suggestions?
