We are getting ready to start using PI Coresight on mobile devices.
Is there a public URL we can use to test the client?
Essentially, we just want to ensure it is working and we can see some data, even if it is only test data.
To my knowledge we do not have a publically available Coresight URL for testing. However, with Coresight 2016, there is no configuration needed client side to view Coresight displays on a mobile device. As long as the mobile device is on the network and can hit your Coresight server URL, you will be automatically redirected to the mobile Coresight page.
However, keep in mind that Windows Authentication will most likely not work for these mobile devices. So you will likely need to configure Coresight to use basic authentication as well should windows authentication fail. Keep in mind that credentials are sent in plain text with basic authentication, so I would strongly recommend acquiring an SSL Cert and configuring Coresight for https with basic authentication if you haven't done this already before rolling out Coresight mobile to users.
Hope this helps,

Thank you... that helps.
Our current instance of Coresight is... aged.. .we will be standing up a new server, so that helps guide us in the direction we need to go.
