We're looking for an example of a Processbook graphical screen for a packaging line, are there examples you can share?
Thanks in advance,
What kinds of examples were you looking for? Maybe some customers could show screenshots of displays they've made, but I can point you to the symbol library if you're not already familiar with it.
For example, this is a very trivial packaging line:
It was built with the symbol library:
We have containers, conveyors, finishing machinery, robots, and a few dozen others
Was this something you were looking for, or an example of one that was built out to use as perspective?
Thanks for your reaction, this gives an indication.
Where I'am looking for is a customer example of a graphical screen which shows a complete packaging line, just to show to my business colleagues how we can use PI for this purpose also.
Unfortunately I was unable to find a complex example packaging line display for you. The problem on our end is that we have a number of displays but some of them came from customers and we're not going to share those publicly.
Here's a recent example though of a pulp mill overview that our sales team made as part of a proof of concept. There a few displays that cover the parts of the plant in more detail, and those displays can be clicked to. This one shows the dynamic tank levels, the process lines, the pump speeds, trends, and the symbols can all be set to change colors or flash under certain conditions.
Hopefully this is helpful, or someone else can post a packaging specific example for you to show your manager.
Also, you may want to run this request by your account manager; depending on the exact situation, we may be able to get someone on our end to put something together for you.
Thank you for the example, although our business is different, it shows a direction of the possibilities.
