Using ECHO to store future data

    MichaelvdV@Atos

We are looking setting up a PI system that can also store future data. The system has to be high performance, and store 10.000+ timelines in the future (5 min. values).

We have reviewed some of the options (also with the help of the following thread: http://vcampus.osisoft.com/forums/t/148.aspx).

We are now looking into using ECHO as a backstore for the future data. ECHO does support future data (according to the specs).

Has anyone attempted something like this before? How would we go about 'linking' the PI tags to the ECHO tags? Can we use a PI2PI connector for this?
