Filtering the elements in the AF Builder add-in for Excel

    philco

      Hi,

Using AF Builder, is it possible to filter the AF elements before loading them into Excel? I don't see how and I must download thousands of elements & attributes even if I want to get only a few specific ones. This is a non-sense but I don't see any way to make a selection on the form.

      Thanks

      Phil

The posted CTP build of the Builder included the Element Find dialog underneath the Elements menu.  However, the Elements button in that version was a Split button which imports all elements if you click the top part of the control.  If you click the bottom part, you will get a menu from which you can select Find Elements…

In the final release, it is no longer a split button to avoid this confusion; you must make a menu selection to import all elements, find elements, or browse to select 1 element.
