How to Create Functions Menus in ProcessBook ?

    TanCheeSeng
I would like to create an "Functions Menu" in the ProcessBook displays. Similar like the "Display Menu bar", but the "Functions Menu" can invoke related functions applications that was configured in displays. As in the Display Menu: File | View | Appl Functions | Help Appl Functions | FunctionType1.. FunctionType2.. FunctionType3.. How to go-about setting up this Function Menu in processBook display application? Regards TanCheeSeng

          Hi Chee,

You may want to check the PI ProcessBook VBA Language Reference (you can open it from the ProcessBook Help menu) and look for "PBCommandBar Examples".

If you have got VBA Subs defined in specific ProcessBook displays that you want to call from custom buttons in a custom toolbar (or in an existing toolbar), you may want to:

          • elaborate some code to add custom toolbars (or custom buttons within an existing toolbar) in the Display_Open Sub
          • elaborate some code to remove custom toolbars (or custom buttons within an existing toolbar) in the Display_BeforeClose Sub

Please let us know if this approach seems appropriate to your use case or if you need further assistance in implementing it, in addition to the examples provided in the documentation I mentioned.
