Has anyone used the PI Manual Logger on a Windows 10 device? The older version has needed features that the newer web version does not. But Windows 8 was the last officially supported OS.
We have not officially tested PI Manual Logger PC against Windows 10 OS.
That being said, we have seen a number of customers using that configuration and did not run into any issues.
I would say that the chances of running into compatibility issues is very low and that you should be able to get full functionality out of PI Manual Logger PC on Windows 10.
I have a test machine of this configuration and confirmed that it is able to run tours and send data from tours
PI Manual Logger 2012 runs in our environment on windows 10 enterprise x64 with a caveat. The device will not automatically sync, until we manually open the windows mobile device center. After we open the mobile device center the handheld is detected and the PI Manaul Logger autosync splash screen will pop up.It would be nice if the handheld would sync/prompt when you docked, instead of having to manually open the mobile device center first. Other than the autosync it seems fine.
