Can PI run on Windows Server Essentials?

We need to set up a physical machine for a demo using PI ((AF, Data Archive, WebAPI) and I was asked if we could use Windows Server 2016 Essentials, which is several hundred dollars cheaper than the Standard version.  I searched the forums and read the system requirements doc but don't see any specific mention of this.  I'm not very familiar with WS Essentials and what the differences/limitations are, so wondering if anyone knows if it will work.  This is only for test/demo usage, not for production at all.

On the same subject, I did see Windows 7/8/10 (non-server) listed as Test-only supported.  Would this also suffice for a short-term demo with limited data volume?

Thanks,
