I am looking for some insight into how AF analytics could address the following scenario:

Given n datapoints for horsepower, I would want to calculate the integral to find the area under the curve.

How would this be accomplished in AF? Is there a function that can be utilized? I found some video examples of doing it in excel, but thought it would be nice to use in Analysis.

Thanks for posting on PISquare. The determining factor on how to do this will be how you define the interval in which you wish to integrate over.

In the most common scenario, the interval is defined by a start time and end time. The integral in this scenario can easily be handled by the TagTot() function. This function will provide the time-weighted total of a tag for a given time interval.

If you are wishing to calculate the integral of an interval defined by n data points. That would be trickier and I have not seen much use cases on that. Please let me know if you want to pursue that option.
