Hi

We have requirement for calculating the time for which limit was deviated in AF analyses. Please refer attached sheet for tag values and limit values.

Firstly: we are calculating the Limit breach using if TagVal('TAGNAME','*') > 60 then "ALERT" ELSE "NORMAL" for high limit alert and TagVal('TAGNAME','*') < 35 then "ALERT" ELSE "NORMAL" for low limit alert

Second:Time in deviation using INT(TIMEEQ('First Result','Y','T',"ALERT")/3600)+(FRAC(TIMEEQ('First Result','Y','T',"ALERT")/3600)*60/100).This works for fine deviation with more minutes but we are getting calc failed error ."Output: Rounding digits must be between 0 and 15, inclusive.Parameter name: digits" when limit deviation is less minutes

When we use TIMEEQ('First Result','Y','T',"ALERT")/3600 we are getting 0.03353 for high limit in deviation time and 0.083423 for low limit time in deviation.Since this TIMEEQ gives results in total hrs and we are using FRAC function for exact minutes calculation.

Please let me know is there any alternate way to calculate exact hrs and minutes without this error.

Regards

Vijay

Hello,

Could you check your AF Client's version? It may be affected by this known issue:

This issue should be fixed in AF Client 2016 R2 and 2016 R2 SP1.
