I have a requirement to pull the AF table data for a specific period into my excel. Is there a way to do it? Is it possible using PI DATA LINK?
To expand a bit on Eugene's suggestion, it sounds like you want to bring in an entire chunk of data from the table. This is still doable from the attribute in DataLink by providing a start time and end time, and at the attribute configuration level you would tell it that the time series data is in the table:
AF Tables are not accessible directly, only through attributes, as they're meant to be a back end data store that would be contextualized through AF elements and attributes before it is accessed. So there won't be a way to simply dump the table from AF into Excel through either DataLink or PI OLEDB Enterprise; both will need to do it through attributes.
You can configure a Table Lookup Data Reference Attribute to pull data from the AF table and then in PI Datalink, you can have access to this Attribute through the various PI Datalink functions.
