Silverlight Application - PI Web services problem

    dutrar

Hi, this is the first time that I’m using PI and PI Web services, and I’m trying to get data from the PI server using Silverlight.

For testing, I’m using the KPIDemo13 Silverlight project (thx very much, Loonie).

When I run the Silverlight application KPIDemo13, I get the “An error occurred while trying to make a request to URI 'http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:81/PIWebServices/PITimeSeries.svc'. This could be due to attempting to access a service in a cross-domain way without a proper cross-domain policy in place, or a policy that is unsuitable for SOAP services…..”

For the web.config I’m using a configuration almost the same as the web_config_basic_no_security file found on help folder of PIWebservices. (attached)

And on the wwwroot folder I have placed the clientaccesspolicy.xml (attached)

I pretty much have checked all the threads related with the Silverlight error, but I could not find an answer for the problem that I'm seeing.

Hope that someone can shed some light on this.

BTW, using WCFStorm I can get data from the PI server, no problem.

      Thanks very much.
