One issue has been raised to my PI coresight, that HTTP ERROR 503 service unavailable, please check below snapshots.I have check my webapi service and webcrawler both are running. please check snapshot below.
It could be authentication or configuration issue. I would recommend to contact Techsupport@osisoft.com for the real time troubleshooting in this case.
try to do "iisreset /status" to check the status of the IIS and if all the services are running. If not, do "iisreset /start".
If are all running, doublecheck on the IIS the status of the applications pool. "START --> Run --> inetmgr --> expand all the sections and on the application pools chek if the one that is serving the Coresight if down."
Here are some of the basic things to check,
1. Check if you can hit the default IIS page, e.g:- http://localhost/
2. If the above step works, no issues with IIS. Now you can try accessing the coresight page as https://localhost/coresight. I fthis does not work, we have to identify how you have configured to access the the coresight page (such as:- https://<hostname> or <localhost> or <FQDN> <IPAddress>/coresight). If the IIS website configured under "All Unassigned" under coresight, then all the name or IP resolution should work..
3. Make sure you have the correct identity configured for the Coresight Application Pools. For example when you have webapi * crawler configure under domain account, it is better to configure the app pools under the same domain account.
HTTP 503 Service Unavailable is very generic error which is mostly linked to the Application Pools not running or configured under incorrect identity or with the Load User Profile set to True.
As I have check my Application pools, my CoresightServiceAppPool is stopped, I tried to start it, but does not starts.
please check attached snap shots.
Issue resolved, due to password change, Application pools get stopped, I have corrected the Identity, now its working fine.
Glad to know that Akash! Most of the times App pool issues lies in authentication.
