How to use one interface pc with two pi server ?
Could you please elaborate bit more what you are trying to achieve.
You can use PI Buffering Service to fan the data to multiple PI Servers from Same Interface depending whether they are part of collective or Independent PI Servers. You can also consider using PItoPI Interface between your 2 PI Servers.
Hi Manbir, thanks for the reply.
We have one interface pc and one pi server is already connected with it. Now i want to connect another pi server with the same interface pc. Now i need to know how can we configure this or is it possible or not.
As Manbir already mentioned, if the second PI Server is in a PI HA Collective with the first server, then you can configure buffering with PI Buffer Subsystem to write the data from the single interface node to both members of the collective.
If the two PI Servers are independent of each other, then you will need to create a second instance of the PI Interface you are using. This interface instance can be identical except the APIHostname parameter should point to your second PI Server.
Hope this helps!

I wanted to add on to Adam's second point about adding a new instance of the interface. In order to do this, you'll need to allow the Interface Configuration Utility to have multiple independent PI Servers. To do this, you'll need to:
1) Open PI Interface Configuration Utility
2) Goto Tools>Options>Loading
3) Check the bubble option to "load interfaces from all known PI Servers".
Now two servers are connected with one interface PC, but on one server ( New VM server ) signals are not coming all tags are showing " shutdown " status.
We are using VM machine on VMware ESXi.
Need help to resolve the issue.
