We need that not admin users are not allow to create or edit PI Coresight displays.
Is it possibile with PI Coresight 2016 R2?
By default only owners can edit their own display. Meaning that other users can't edit your displays unless you make them owner.
It may apear that way but once the user click save you get promted to give it a new name. By default all PI Vision (PI Coresight) displays are personal and not public.
That being said, I'm not aware of any solutions to make PI Vision read only (kiosk mode) by defalut, only out of the box solution I have is sharing the kisok mode URL.
This is not possible with PI Coresight 2016 R2. PI Vision 2017 will introduce "Viewers" (read-only access) user role, and you'll be able to lock your users to that role via AF Identities (just like you do with Display Sharing right now). PI Vision 2017 should be released soon.
Hi, I have the same question
Is there a way to set kiosk mode in PI Vision by default for specific users?
I have explorers users in PI Vision, but iI would like that the displays that this users can see stay in kiosk mode.
I appreciate your help.
