Just an FYI that Technical Support cases are not publicly view-able - so others cannot see the details of your case. I thought I'd share a couple of relevant points from the case in case anyone else is experiencing the same issue:
Working with Mia Liu Long, she provided the following steps for upgrading the Coresight database and renaming it to Vision
1. either upgrade Coresight database using PI Vision admin page or by running go.bat script (make sure you have sufficient permission) ----You have done it by running Go.bat.
2. Stop both PIVisionAdmin and Service App pools
3. Rename Coresight database in SQL to 'Vision'
4. Go to PI Vision Admin page and point it to 'Vision' database
After doing so, you continued to see some confusing behavior within the Admin Page UI, but you confirmed that displays were functioning, and PI Vision seemed to be up and running. In particular among the confusing UI components was a yellow warning sign next to the database name. Our Product Specialist team reproduced this internally and is continuing to test to see if this warning has any basis, or if it is just a mistaken UI symbol
I too upgraded from PI Core sight to PI Vision with same results. Support told me I could rename the data base and repoint (from admin page) the new name of the database. I have not tried this as of today.
