Asset comparison table as ad-hoc symbol in PI Vision 2017?

I have a requirement to visualize the assets behind a rollup status value, and I'm curious about the new asset comparison table symbol in PI Vision 2017. Our Vision installation is not working at the moment so I'm unable to test this myself:

I would like to use ad-hoc displays to visualize this, and I'm reading in the documentation that "A trend is the default symbol type for an ad hoc display. To change the symbol to a table, use the  Symbol=table parameter."

It doesn't specify anything else, so I assume this means the old table symbol - not the new asset comparison table. Is it possible to create ad-hoc displays with the new asset comparison table?

I have a lot of asset types I hope to avoid creating pre-defined displays for.
