Online Training: Configuring PI Data Archive Security Online Course June/July 2017 - Introduce Yourself

Discussion created by csteiner on Jun 27, 2017

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to Configuring PI Data Archive Security Online Course! Security is a such an important topic, and I am glad we will have a chance to focus on it here. This thread is for all the students registered for this session (June 26 to July 14) to introduce themselves just like we would in an in-person class.

I will start with myself:

My name is Caleb. I am a Customer Support Engineer at OSIsoft. That means I go back and forth between working Tech Support and doing Field Service jobs for our customers. My background is in Industrial Engineering at Georgia Tech. OSI has been a great company so far, and I thoroughly enjoy working with you all, our customers!

Now it's your turn:

Please introduce yourself. I would like to learn about you, your role and experiences working with the PI System, and your specific goals for this course.

We may be online, but let's make sure to have a great conversation by taking advantage of this Community to share thoughts and questions throughout the course.

I am looking forward to working with you all in this class.

Let's get started! Please let me know if you have any questions.
