Not able to get errors while buffering is enabled

We are having buffering on in our system, but when we exactly use the code which is provided as per below:

AFErrors<AFValue> errors =  AFListData.UpdateValues(newValues, AFUpdateOption.Replace, AFBufferOption.Buffer);

But we are not able to get any errors returned in code, its always returns null for the scenarios like (No write permission and writing Invalid data on the PIpoint Tag)

Is there any configuration we need to do additionally in order to capture the errors?

Note:- We are able to view the errors in the Buffering Manager -> PI point errors but how to capture in code?
