I have a question. Is there a possibility to redirect hyperlink to another browser?
For example, I have 5 hyperlinks on my visualization (IE) and one of them I want to open in Chrome.
for Chrome is there an extention called "open in native browser". For IE is an Addon called "OpenChromePlugIn.OpenInChrome".
I´m not sure, if this is an normal Plugin, or if it is programmed by my company.
Adding on to the comment thatflost made, this is generally not doable at the hyperlink level because a hyperlink is just plain-text with a .url extension, and Windows only permits one default handler for each extension. This superuser post explains this in more depth. There are a number of browser add-ins for Firefox and Chrome that let you mimic IE though.
As stated above, this really isn't possible at the URL level in PI Vision. I am curious as to why 4 of the 5 links go to IE and 1 to Chrome?
Would you mind expanding on why you want 1 specific link to open in Chrome vs IE?
Thank you for all replies.
One of the application is compatible only with Firefox.
Our standard is IE so the only solution is to redirect it from IE to Firefox.
I understand that. Thank you for the update.
