Is there any configuration for ProcessBook do not connect Server when opening a PDI.
(it is very slow to open a pdi)
Which version of PI ProcessBook are you running?
ProcessBook version is 126.96.36.199
I have solved this problem by set up the connection timeouts within 1s
It is interesting solution.
After booting up the PI ProcessBook, does the display shows values correctly?
By the way, there is a possibility that this KB is related to the issue. Can you check it?
KB00281 - PI Client applications (DataLink, ProcessBook, PI SMT) and Windows Services are slow to start
Does your client machine have internet access?
Thanks very much for your reply.
In fact, I do not care about the display's values and internet access.
I only want to open a PDI and export it to a SVG.
(But this procedure takes me a lot of time, I think the PB automatically connect the PI Server many times or within many seconds when opening a PDI,
so I set connection timeouts within 1s, and it works.)
I will check the KB00281, thanks.
OK. In your case, setting short time for timeout settings work. Thank you for letting us know.
Have a good day,
