I am receiving pulses from a gas meter and need to convert to cubic feet. There are 100 cubic feet per pulse. What is the simplest way to calculate this in PI AF?

I'm not familiar with Gas Meter Pulse Outputs.

Mathematically speaking, is what you are looking for:

(100 ft3/pulse * (x2-x1)pulse)/(t2-t1)unit of time = gas flow in ft3/unit of time

-where x2 and x1 are the number of pulses given by the meter at time t2 and t1?

If this is what you are looking for, then in Asset Analytics a possible way of doing this:

100*(TagVal('Tag','*') - PrevVal('Tag','*')) / secsincechange('tag')

The unit of time in this case would be second
